La artista figurativa de origen hondureño, Leticia Banegas, ha dado un salto al mundo de las criptomonedas, estrenándose en OpenSea. El mayor marketplace de activos digitales del mundo, con tecnología blockchain y 1.8 millones de usuarios activos.
Es decir, que, a partir de ahora, las obras de la pintora Leticia Banegas serán un token no fungible o NFT (por sus siglas en inglés, Non-Fungible Token) y podrían ser adquiridas en cualquier parte del mundo con la rapidez de un NFT.

La pintora que este año 2022 celebra diez años de carrera artística, añadió que OpenSea podría ser una plataforma donde se valore a gran escala su trabajo y una manera de resolver en instantes el deseo de un coleccionista en cualquier lugar del planeta, por adquirir una pieza original.

I am self taught figurative artist.
“My work is the portrayal of a world that exists somewhere between heaven and earth”.
When I paint I see these women, I see them walking like if underwater with their hair flowing in slow motion. They exist, I see them. It is a magical realm that most of us can´t see but that doesn´t mean it doesn´t exist.
What inspire me are the women in my family through generations. Their stories are so rich, complex and some of them are almost surreal. I try to create a “world” populated by the magical presence of these women. I also like to work with female archetypes, representing them with my personal stamp.
My paintings have appeared in publications, museums, galleries and private collections throughout the world.
And through these new technologies I introduce myself inside the crypto world through NFTs.
