This month, El Salvador is to host the 72nd edition of the Miss Universe pageant, the most prestigious international beauty contest. The event is to be presented by former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo, TV host Jeannie Mai, and the actor and journalist Maria Menounos. In addition to the contest itself, Miss Universe 2023 will include a live musical performance by 12-time Grammy winner John Legend. Catriona Gray and Zuri Hall serving as backstage correspondents.
