Metropolitan Fashion Week 2016
El diseñador Erick Bendaña presentó su Colección “Fantasía” en el Metropolitan Fashion Week (Seattle Farewell Show), en el Seattle Art Museum de la ciudad de Seattle, Washington en los Estados Unidos.
Este evento del pasado mes de Abril, es el primero de un total de 3 eventos internacionales en el cual el afamado diseñador estará presentando sus colecciones del 2016.
Las otras dos fechas son: 1 de octubre en el Museo de Arte de Los Angeles, California; Para luego finalizar el 12 de noviembre en Warner Brothers Studios de Las Vegas, Nevada.
Bendaña aclaró que sus diseños de este año, son una combinación de trajes, solo de noche, que al verlos te envían directamente al romanticismo y un mundo de fantasía y cuentos medievales.

Following this act was designer Erick Bendaña, a Latin American designer that brings us back to his roots with his playful use of color and sheer fabrics to the rhythm of Conga.
Erick’s gowns were lovely, showing just the right amount of skin but still looking classy and sophisticated. However, what blew me away were his incredible costumes made with dyed macaw and peacock feathers. This was a great tribute to Latin American culture, and wowed me not only for the extremely careful execution but for the thoughtful use of different tones and colors to create an emotion out of each look.
This was definitely one of my favorite designers of the whole show.
