Ramírez fué cambiado por lo Diamondbacks a los Seattle Mariners por efectivo el 27 de Julio.

El 8 de Septiembre, J.C Ramírez debutó con Seattle Mariners y lo hizo de gran manera ante Texas Rangers.
Ramírez entro al relevo del novato estrella de Seattle Taijuan Walker en el 4to inning y se mantuvo en el box por 2 entradas sin permitir carreras.

Split the 2013 season between AA Reading, AAA Lehigh Valley and the Philadelphia Phillies, going a combined 5-2 w/a 4.04ERA in 34 combined Minor League relief outings (49.0IP, 44H, 22ER, 25BB, 44K, .232AVG)…Had his contract selected and was added to the 40-man roster on June 22 and made his MLB debut the next day vs. the NY Mets…Faced 17 batters w/o allowing a hit to begin his career (4.2IP, 5 scoreless games to begin career)…Was designated for assignment on 8/2 before having his contract selected again on August 25…Had a 14.1-inning scoreless streak that spanned 9 games at AAA at the time of his Aug 25 call-up… Went a span of 10.2 IP (617-8/19) without allowing a base hit at LV (opp. hitters were 0-37 in that span)…Posted a 9.31 ERA (20 ER, 19.1 IP) over his final 13 games after making 5 scoreless appearances to begin his career, allowing an ER in 10 consecutive appearances (7/7-9/15) at one point…He elected free agency after being outrighted off the Phillies’ 40-man roster on October 16.

Spent the season with High Desert (A)…Tied for the team lead in starts (27) and was 2nd in innings (142.1) and 3rd in SO (111)…Threw his 2nd professional CG, 7/10 at Modesto (8.0 IP).

2008
Estuvo la temporada con Wisconsin (A). Permitió 3 ER o menos en 18 de sus 22 aperturas. Tuvo una temporada alta de 9 SO cuatro veces: 4/28 vs West Michigan, 5/4 en Great Lakes, 5/10 vs Cedar Rapids y 8/24 vs Quad Cities.
