Algunos de estos niños estan adictos a drogas y trabajan en la calle. Es una escena triste\, y se ha empeorado con el pasar de los años. Los niños abandonados a su suerte en las calles están fuera del control del gobierno\, las escuelas\, familia y hasta la iglesia. \nNo tiene que continuar siendo de esta manera! \nNosotros los Ciudadanos Nicaragüenses Residentes en el Inland Empire\, California pensamos que es tiempo que tomemos responsabilidad por el futuro de estos niños y poner sus vidas en manos de personal capacitado con quienes estos niños tengan una segunda oportunidad. \nEl propósito del Proyecto niños de la calle es de contruir Centros de Protección al Niño que puedan atender inicialmente 120 de estos niños. \nCada año la meta será rescatar mas niños de las calles. \nEl Proyecto niños de la calle es parte de la Organización No Lucrativa “Abandoned Children in Nicaragua Foundation Inc.” fundada por lo que inicialmente se conoció como Ciudadanos Nicaraguenses del Inland Empire.
