DESCRIPTION:Welcome to the Nicaraguan Cigar Festival\nThe Nicaraguan Cigar Festival “Puro Sabor” is a gathering of Cigar lovers and enthusiasts from around the world to enjoy the best Cigars in the world\, and experience Nicaragua’s rich heritage and culture. Happening from January 22th to 27th\, 2018 in Nicaragua. \nSchedule\nWelcome to Nicaragua\, land of lakes and volcanoes. A country waiting to be discovered and enjoyed. \n\n Day 1\, Monday 22nd Welcome – Registration. \n\n\nWe will be waiting for you in the VIP area of Managua’s Augusto C. Sandino International Airport. Our Guides will take you from the airport to the city of Granada. Once checked in at the hotel and registered with the festival\, you will have some free time to explore this historic city of Granada. \nFree activities: you will visit Mombacho Cigar Factory and explore the colonial architecture of its old center\, many museums\, city tours and bars. It is quite safe to move around this city both on foot and by bicycle. \n\n Day 2\, Tuesday 23rd: Beach day Tola & Granada \n\n\nOur starting point is Tola\, Rivas\, natural beauty of Nicaragua’s stunning Pacific coast. \nAfter breakfast\, we travel to Tola\, Rivas located on the Pacific coast of Nicaragua. Relaxing day at the beach and wonderfull views\, you will enjoy different activities such as: swimming\, horsesback riding\, Stand up paddleboarding\, surf\, spa\, etc \nAt night\, we will have a welcoming dinner in attendance at El Convento\, an important historical building and museum in which will make you feel at home. \n\n Day 3\, Wednesday 24th: Begin the intensive visit of the richest cigars factories. \n\n\nWe travel to Estelí\, famous for its tobacco field’s factories and rich Tobacco Culture. The trip takes approximately two and half hours\, but there will be a rest-stop to stretch your legs and\, of course\, smoke a cigar. When we arrive at midday\, lunch will be taken at El Tuco\, Plasencia farm. \nOn this day we visit one of the many famous tobacco factories. \nAt night\, The festival is formally inaugurated by the country’s leading producers. The dinner will be at Joya de Nicaragua. This was the first 100% Nicaraguan cigar factory established in the country that manufactures handmade premium cigars. \n\n Day 4\, Thursday 25th: The cigar factories open their doors to you. \n\n\nContinue visiting the world’s most important and impressive Cigar Factories\, where the owners will personally show you around and teach you all you need to know to become a cigar expert. \nExcellent tasting of cigars from different areas of Nicaragua\, where you will feel the taste and stipulations of palates to understand how to make a blend followed by a conversation on various topics of interest. You will have lunch at Cigar Rings / Sancho Oset. \nAt the end of the afternoon\, you will have a few hours to rest and recharge your batteries before a traditional white dinner and party (where you’ll adorn your special guayabera shirt) accompanied by music and dance with colorful national folk costumes at Plaza Domingo Gadea. \n\n Day 5\, Friday 26th: Tobacco field visits \n\n\nYour activities will continue with a tour of plantations to see how the growth and production of tobacco plants takes place in harmony with the environment. You will be able to experience and enjoy the whole process of cigar production\, from seed to curing barn. Lunch will be at Las Limas PROCENICSA curing barn. \nDuring this day you will visit Tobacco fields and rest all afternoon. \nWe have reserved the last night for an extraordinary and an unforgettable gala dinner to bring the festival to a close. It is a formal affair. \n\n Day 6\, 27th: Tranportation to airport in Managua \n\n\nTransfer back to Managua for flight home. \nYou will take with you the aroma of a great tobacco nation and the esteem of an industry with a rich history\, high quality levels and a true human face. \n\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n
