Ready for another shot at championship gold\, Alvarado will leave it all in the ring taking on Jayson Velez on July 15. \nCesar Diaz is set to make his exciting professional debut as a new member of the Golden Boy Promotions stable on July 15. A decorated amateur and owner of a 104-11 amateur record\, Diaz won the 2012 Silver Gloves National Championship\, the 2015 Adidas National PAL title\, The Desert Showdown in 2009\, 2013 and 2015\, and several other tournaments. Among the fighters he defeated were 2016 United States Olympians Shakur Stevenson and Carlos Balderas\, as well as Danny Gonzalez. In 2013\, Diaz went to the Junior Olympic regionals and was champion in his weight class\, but due to his citizenship\, he could not move on to the nationals. Cuando una mujer es abusada sexualmente\, psicológicamente\, verbalmente\, una parte del mundo va pudriéndose. \nCuando una madre es golpeada estamos creando hijos abusadores en potencia\, creando a seres inválidos emocionalmente. Cuando una mujer es maltratada\, estamos destruyendo el amor. Dice el refrán popular ¡Ay amores que matan!\, nosotros decimos que cuando hay amor\, debe haber placer no dolor\, debe haber equidad en todos los aspectos\, respeto a la diferencia y a la independencia del otro. \nQuién dice que el hombre es mejor que la mujer? Porqué las mujeres permitimos que se nos denigre? Quién mide los alcances de éste feminicidio silencioso? \nLa violencia intrafamiliar está considerada un problema de asunto “privado”. Nosotros\, como grupo de teatro\, no podíamos quedar callados ante éste problema el consideramos de interés público. \nEn la medida que íbamos investigando\, nos entristecía constatar que el hombre violento seguía sumido en una serie de comportamientos patriarcales en sus relaciones de pareja. Que la mujer lo “atienda”\, que la mujer lo “entienda”\, que la mujer “dependa de él”\, que la mujer le sea “fiel”\, que le “tenga hijos”. También tristemente comprobábamos que mucho de ese comportamiento era propiciado en algunos casos por nosotras las mujeres. Que mientras la mujer no diga ¡Basta!\, el ciclo de violencia continuará. \nEsta obra\, es nuestra humilde contribución a poner sobre el tapete un tema que nos compete a todos\, hombres y mujeres\, para que una parte del mundo deje de morir cada día. \n  \n

Entre ellos el salvadoreño Federico Hernández\, el dominicano Daniel Baruc\, el mexicano Rubén Martínez\, el colombiano Alirio Quimbayo Durán\, y la argentina Mónica Muñoz. Por Nicaragua\, Suad Marcos\, Ninfa Farrach\, Guillermo Mejía Baltodano\, Marcos Orozco\, entre otros. \nPara la clausura del evento se presentará la Serenata Managua\, de parte de los hermanos Carlos y Luis Enrique Mejía Godoy con sus poemas musicalizados Oda a Roosevelt y Caupolicán. En tanto Otto de la Rocha cantará ¡Que Viva Managua!\, y Managua\, linda Managua. \n“Queremos revivir a Managua\, porque está resurgiendo y por eso nos sumamos con música y fervor poético”\, resaltó Montoya.\nEl organizador invitó a todos los managuas para asistir a las actividades del Festival que se realizarán del 19 al 22 de mayo en la capital\, “porque también es una conmemoración al centenario de la muerte de Darío y a su obra poética”\, resaltó el escritor. \nMARATÓN POÉTICO\nA este evento se espera que asistan unos 150 poetas del país\, inscritos para participar en la lectura de micrófono abierto y rondas de lectura\, confirmó María Teresa Gutiérrez\, coordinadora nacional del Festival.\n“Nos han confirmado poetas de la Asociación Nicaragüense de Escritoras\, Karebarro\, Artelica de León\, Casa de Poetas de Granada\, Círculo Literario del Adulto Mayor\, de Matagalpa\, Chinandega\, Diriamba\, San Juan del Sur\, y de otras ciudades del país”\, explicó Montoya. \nHabrá lecturas simultáneas de poesía en las rotondas de Bello Horizonte y Rubén Darío\, en el Parque Menem y el Parque Luis Alfonso Velásquez\, a partir de las 2:00 p.m. \nLIBROS\nAriel Montoya anunció que el viernes 20 tendrán presentaciones de libros y conversatorios en el Centro Cultural Nicaragüense Norteamericano. Detalló que a partir de las: \n8:00 a.m. el historiador Bayardo Cuadra expondrá sobre la vida del narrador Juan Aburto y de la poeta María Teresa Sánchez. \n9:00 a.m.\, Helena Ramos presentará la antología sobre María Teresa Sánchez. \n10:00 a.m. Francisco Bautista Lara hablará sobre Rubén Darío en Managua. \n11:00 a.m. el novelista Ricardo Pasos Marciaq conversará sobre sus experiencias. Con el objetivo de crear un cultura sana\, poética y profesional en la conciencia de los nicaragüenses\, surge este proyecto literario. \nActividades\nEl evento se trasladará a las principales ciudades de Nicaragua y a cinco estados de Estados Unidos.
